Special projects

I've been working in a different location for the past three weeks helping with the reset of another store. Now... In my estimation we could have been done a week ago had all the fixtures arrived on time and the projects been scheduled appropriately. There's no doubt in my mind we've waisted about as much time doing "busy work" as we have actually doing the job we were asked to go there and do.

We have one more new fixture to build and approximately 100 feet of wall fixtures to tear down and rebuild so the painters can get the front wall of the store painted. Excluding the time it will take the painters to do their thing we could actually have that all done in about 8 hours. Then I suppose we will be spending the rest of the week repacking all the things sent that we couldn't use, plus all the surplus things we didn't use for whatever reason... and setting the mods that were supposed to be done by the daytime recovery team. I'm beginning to doubt if there even is one.
